This project was a feasibility study for the new construction of a wood-frame 6-storey multi-residential apartment project for a women's supportive housing organisation in Langley, on which I was an Architectural Technologist for Schematic Design. The design examined the most effective method for providing maximum residential living spaces on a topographically steep and forested site while respecting a riparian zone. I was involved in developing a Revit BIM model for rapid prototyping of area and space calculation. I collaborated with the architect in drafting plans, sections, elevations, and design options for the building and the site. The proposal was sent to a Quantity Surveyor for Class D costing, and then submitted to client for review.
