This project was a feasibility study for the new construction of a wood-frame 6-storey multi-residential apartment project for BCHousing in the District of North Vancouver, on which I was an Architectural Technologist from Programming to Schematic Design. The design examined the most effective method for providing maximum residential living spaces on a topographically sloped and forested site. I was involved in developing a Revit BIM model for rapid prototyping of area and space calculation. I collaborated with the architect in drafting plans, sections, elevations, and design options for the building and the site. Artificial Intelligence models were utilised for conceptual architectural visualisation. The proposal was sent to a Quantity Surveyor for Class D costing, and then submitted to BC Housing for review.
