Just Like Home Lodge was a new construction of a wood-frame multi-storey multi-residential building for healthcare staff and specialised care patients for the Campbell River Hospital in Campbell River, on which I was an Architectural Technologist from Programming to Schematic Design. The design examined the most effective method for providing maximum living and care spaces on a topographically steep and dimensionally narrow site. The proposed design will add care capacity to the hospital operations, while also providing temporary residences for doctors relocating to the area. I collaborated with the architect in developing schematic designs which met to healthcare authority's requirements.
